Friendship at Christmas?

Postby RollerBall » Mon Dec 22, 2003 11:50 am

Not likely!

This is the Herald from Mr Piper ;)

Image

Great model as usual, fully animated with opening hatches front and rear

Image

Looks great in the air and comes with lots of vintage liveries

Image

FDE leaves a bit to be desired - eg flaps have too much drag and lift, but I've changed that in mine. Also, engine a bit uncontrollable on the ground - you know, just 2 settings.....

Image

But if you like veterans this is definitely one you should have

Image

I've modded Sav's panel a bit - just couldn't savvy how his autopilot works!

Image

Thanks to Rick Piper for the plane and Saverio Maurri for the panel

No it's another one from the excellent Rick Piper Collection (my description, not his!) available from

http://www.btinternet.com/~rick.piper/

The whole website is a little gem for lovers of veteran British aircraft.

PS

But in case anyone asks, his planes don't have VCs

:)

Yeah I like it too. The reason I got that shot, apart from the detail Rick has included which you just have to look at closely, is the flightdeck glass. Look how it has caught the light and how you can just see the two pilots through the reflection.

Fantastic.
