CFS3 Spitfire...

Postby Wing Nut » Tue Dec 02, 2003 6:04 pm

I think it was great that they included a clipped wing Spit in this game.  I'll never speak badly of the glass reflections again...  :o  Sorry about the poor quality of the shots.  I tried using multi-grab and it screwed them all up.  Never again.

Pippin. Precisely how did MultiGrab screw things up? You can send the shots to your favourite graphics editor for resizing etc. with one click.

Nice shots. BTW

Well, the images are far too big for a start. I'll download them & try resizing them myself. I've used MultiGrab successfully for years, since it was first released. There shouldn't be a problem.

PS. Oops. I see you beat me to it. ::)

Hey Pippin  Did you see that UFO flying off you port wing?  ;D  I guess you fixed the pictures, because now they look great, a really nice set of shots.

I love the clipped wing Spit but I've not found a good repaint of it yet (I don't like those coloured bands) but it still looks good.

I forgot this is CFS3. Try the onboard screengrab feature. Either Shift + ; or Ctrl + ;
I forget which now. The shots are automatically saved in BMP format to My Documents\Combat Flight Simulator 3.

Not a lot of people know that. (Michael Caine.) ;)

Pippin, make sure Multigrab is saving in 100% JPEG quality under 'setup'. Multigrab seems to work alright for me.

Pip also check your settings in Photoshop. I had left the settings in Paint Shop Pro after use all FUBAR for screenies. It took me a week to figure out what I was doing wrong ::) Okay so I'm not always the sharpest knife in the draw ::) ;D
Nice shots BTW.

Hey, found one ;D Well I found three, but this is the nicest one.

I just noticed as I was resizing this shot that M$ have screwed up the loadout on this plane. They have the .50 cal. in an outboard machine gun bay when it should be in the inboard cannon bay. Bugger.
