Nice one Bird man. It seems you have a very wide taste in aircraft - like me.

The BAe 146, Avro RJ70, Avro RJ, Avro RJX or whatever you might like to call it was originally the HS 146. It was intended as a DC-3 replacement & designed & originally built at Hatfield. The BAe 146-100 first flew on September 3rd, 1981. The DH 125, BAe 125, Raytheon/Beech Hawker 800 has a similar history. Ironic how the last successful De Havilland designs ended up being marketed under the Avro & Hawker names. ::)
Sadly this demonstrates the demise of the British aircraft industry since the mid-60s.

The final Avro RJ to be produced was delivered on 26th November 2003. This brings the total number of BAe 146 and Avro RJs delivered to 390.
