DC-10-30 In Gmax

Postby Mike Thurman » Mon Dec 01, 2003 9:53 am

Well, in my spare time, i've started this McDonnell Douglas DC-10 ( or the 30 series ) in Gmax. It's about 15% complete, with the basic structure modeled.

I'll also try to build a DVC and Panel for it, unfortunately, i dont make sounds for FS.

Looks nice already, but i wonder where you modelers get your info. It seems a HUGE task to perform, designing a plane from scratch! I can only say, respect!

DC-10

All I'll say is please make animations mapped correctly.  There's nothing more annoting than hitting the tailhook button and having a cargo door open up. :P

Looks real good so far though.  Hope she's not a FPS hog! ;) Good work. ;)

Tailhook on a DC-10? Id like to see that you could use it to land on short fields and use rato's to take off again... ;D

any chance in making a KC-10 version? I wouldn't care if the boom was animated or not. Just a simple boom for show and a nice Travis or McGuire paint scheme would be a beauty!
