The Junkers W-33, Russian Dobrolet and Aeroflot designation PS-4 (Pochtovii Samolet 4) was an all-metal cantilever low-wing single-engined aircraft. Powered by 1 Junkers L-5 in-line water-cooled six-cylinder engine, this aircraft was capable to reach top speed 185 kph and fly 1000 km with cruise speed 150 kph. W-33 has a ceiling 4700 meters and posses a flight duration up to 5 hours. ;D

Not for the fainthearted, this open cockpit.
The way it is built reminds me of the Ju-52, but single-engined and equipped w. floats.

Fun shots!

Thanks JW! :)

Not surprised it looks like a Ju-52, it was build by the same company, about 5 or six years before the 52...I think.

That's pretty nice.  Did they carry passengers?  I noticed the door on the side.  It would suck to fly in that thing with no windows!  8)

Hmm, odd plane, don't see how it can fly with that box-like fuselage, good shots though ;)
