Canadian: Those are my exact word when I first saw it. I like it, I like it alot.  Wish I knew where Shaun got it, I'd see if there were anymore at home like her.                       Fido  ;D

I was looking at the wing roundels, they don't look British, wonder if they were Polish, or maybe Free French?

Anybody notice the dog on the nose and the registration of "ARF"

made me chuckle

KDSM   Good eyes, never payed any attention to the nose art :-[.   With a user name like Fido, you would think I'd notice a dog.  Looks like Walt Disney's Pluto.

Fido those upper wing roundels appear to be 56" B Type ones (although the blue to red ratio is slightly off), which means she is RAF. These markings were used from '38- late '39, which would tie in nicely with her being a MkII.
Lovely looking model though ;) And super shots.

Ozzy

PS. If you can do an enlarged shot of the roundel under the cockpit I can probably give you more info ;)

Could this be it? Near the bottom of the page. http://www.simviation.com/fs2004vintage3.htm
FS2004/2002 Supermarine Spitfire MKII Spitfire II P8079 of Flt Lt Wactaw Lapkowski, No 303 Sqn, Northolt, March 1941 . Designed in FSDS2 by J R Lucariny. 1.2MB

PS. That's my idea of a Spitfire. Gonna try it now. :D

PPS. Check out the following page. 3 more by the same author - including a Mk V.

Here's Mr Lucariny's Mk V over Shoreham in FS9.

Beautiful visual model but no DVC or other goodies. Not a problem for me. l spotted a few small bugs, nothing serious. From the amount of his work posted on this site alone this man is a prolific designer with a great deal of talent. I haven't felt like this since meeting my friends Bonzonie & my FF colleague Fang. :D

Thanks Hagar,  Shaun sent only the aircraft zip, not the location where he found it  Ozzy wanted me to email he a zip, guess your link will do much better. Do your talents never end?   Hey I lost an eyeglasses screw about 2yrs ago in Chicago, think you can find it? ;D

LOL Fido. Even I have my limits. If it's posted on the WWW I reckon I can find it. Anything else & you're on your own. ;)

I hastily converted the Mk V for CFS2. Needs a few more tweaks & a DP + a decent CFS2 prop disk. What do you think so far? ;)

PS. This is a completely unedited shot. All I did was to crop it to size in IrfanView.

Very nice early Spits. With so many later types around it's nice to see some "Baby Spits" around. Shame about the upper wing B-Type roundels but still a great looking plane.

Ya!  you gota love the early ones, those that remain closest the original concept.  I think the fact that she was born from the mind of one man, rather than a committee, helps put her in a league of her own.
