I have had this Tempest for a day or two but it's textures were muddy in FS2K4, but thanks to Hagar they look great, not sure what I did, but it now has bullet holes in it, but they are clear as a bell.  My public thanks to Hagar for all his help.

Hawker Tempest  Here she is at last, now I just need to find a sweet Typhoon.

Wow Fido, I've never seen that Tempest looking so good, even with bullet holes!! The same guys who built that Tempest made a couple of Tiffy's also and I reckon you can get them here. If not they are over at "No Nodes."

Not sure where the bullet holes came from, they weren't there when the textures were blured. I like them, just wish they were smaller, looks like 20mm or larger. Gixer is right, if it weren't for the fact that, it's British craftsmanship , indestructible don't you know, I'd be making a very large hole in the ground.

It looks like it's using the damaged textures. It should have a set with and without holes, but don't ask me how it works or how to change them.

I think Fido got the textures mixed up. I sent revised instructions. He should have a serviceable aircraft by now.

PS. This is how it should look. Not having a  rocket powered machine like some of you guys, my shot doesn't do it justice.

i've experienced the complete opposite of that in CFS3. one hit of a german flak took out 80% of my typhoon (=slightly different tempest). i still could fly for a few miles ,then i had to bail out...oil leak,fuel leak,structures almost completely damaged and so on...

The Typhoon was pressed into service before it was ready. The early models had several serious teething problems which could result in the engine packing up, or the prop or tail falling off - that was before you got into combat. In addition, the big radiator scoop made it impossible to ditch safely. Standing instructions were to bail out if in trouble.
