This is a bad thing to do.  Threads like this tend to hog all kinds of resources on the server, so they are discouraged.  Also, since the thread limit is 500k in screenshots, it usually blows that pretty easily.  I would suggest not having this, but if you must, then keep the screenshots as small as possible, otherwise it'll have to get shut down...

ok, i'll save alittle space and not create a whole new post.    so here's my fav, for all of us non european flyers.

It's not out yet.  But when it does become available, I plan to fly it till the DB falls out!

I think threads like this are great. I understand the bandwidth problem, so let's try to keep within the rules.
I see a thread like this as members "conversing" with pictures, instead of words, IMHO.  ;D

Man, that is one gorgeous Mustang!  Where'd you find that one?

This is a great idea guys but simply not practical. 5 images the size of Mustang's could easily take the thread over the limit. In fact it might have already reached it. A better idea might be to upload the shots & post a link to them.

Rules for posting images on Simviation's forums

Please keep all screenshots/images in JPG format & less than 100K.
Please keep all images within 800 pixels wide
Please keep PERSONAL avatars (logo under your name) less than 10K & 100 pixels wide
Please keep SIGNATURE images within 30K max.
Please do not post more than 500K total of files in any one thread.

Hence the suggestion 'keep them small'  If everyone had posted their pics at 30k or less that would have been 15 pics we could have seen, and the thread probably would have died out on it's own.  But some people think the forum rules apply to them and decided they were going to post whatever the hell they wanted.  I agree with you Hagar, from now on, I'll just shut the thread down right away.
