Stormy approach at Princess Juliana Intl.

Postby Mr. Bones » Tue Nov 11, 2003 8:15 am

i guess you know where this is...yep, TNCM...but this time, the weather was very very bad: heavy rains, view less than 8Nm and with 35kts crosswind! of course, Captain Bones landed this heavy tri-jet smooth without any problems on the short runway of TNCM...enjoy

Well done, Ken, these are VERY good shots!
My favorites are 1,6 and 8.
#7: a nosegear bounce?

You know, I often used to fly around St.Maarten because of the approach in FS2k and 2k2. Now finally, MS put a lot of work in the Island and see how nice it looks! I am happy that it appeals to more people now. It is well deserved, the island is beautiful.

well guys, first of all the pics aren't in the correct order, i know that...i didn't do a go-around, i never need a second chance!  ;D

Jan Willem, i guess you mean the smoke...not a nose gear bounce but just something with the replay i think...
i also used this field in FS2002, but now it's much more fun. although MS forgot one small thing: a fence! that would make it much more realistic!  ;)

Yeah, now that you mention that, the fence IS missing.
Also, no topless people...  :-/
Ah well, maybe when MS finally gets liberal. (yeah right!)
