Misty Mountains

Postby Iroquois » Mon Nov 10, 2003 11:44 am

I was flying near Interlaken Switzerland and saw this lovely misty vista over the lake. The aircraft is a Dewoitine D520.

BTW, YAFSScreen has been taking really blurry screenshots lately. I have the settings at max and the shots didn't look like the original image in FS. You guys that are always posting the fantastic clear screenshots, what program are you using?

Superb shot, I use GCS available here in the utilities section at SimV. It takes pretty good shots, albeit a little bit slow ;).

FSScreen, post production with PSP7.
Screenshots are 1280x960 when taken, resized to 800x600.
If i have many shots, i put 4 800x600 ones on one 1600x1200 and resize that to 800x600 again.

Then JPEG them with the optimizer, keeping file size on the edge of the 100K limit

I use Irfanview (click me) and just take a standard Print screen, change picture size and presto. Complete

I fly at 1600 x 1200 and shoot my screenshots with MGrab from Martin Wright, then resize them down with P'shop 7........it works reasonably well for me.....you have seen my shots ?

I got Irfanview and shots are starting to look a lot more clear. I haven't tested it in FS yet.
