B-2

Postby ramsa329 » Thu Nov 06, 2003 11:09 pm

I was just checking this model out and took a couple of shots.

These are the new water effects from Bill Lyons combined with some stock which gives me the best overall effect.

Oh and by the way I was reading another post about being unable to get screens under 100KB.

Please look at that first shot and you will see that even with the most  complex terrain it is possible to produce excellent shots far below the 100 mark.

I wish I can have that nice water effect.

The problem is that the Water Effects Slider in the FS9 Display settings doesn't seem to hold on to the right side. The slider just snaps to the middle after I click OK.

It seems that my video card [listed below] can't support high water effects, just the medium. But it can still support aircraft reflections.

I'm hoping to get an AlienWare system. Those computers have the Geforce FX or Ti versions. I only have the Geforce MX version.

Stunning pics, well done! I love the second one. Apart from the shiny textures, it looks almost real ;D

Postby Scorpiоn » Fri Nov 07, 2003 3:57 pm

Quite swell I shall say, but those water effects sure are weird. :o One of the creepiest planes to see in a fly-by, I'll add. :o :-X Quite a demoralizing experience if you're supposed to be on the recieving end. :'(
