Lovely shots of a lovely plane. The first delta wing all weather fighter Britain had if I remember correctly.

It was also one of the insparations for the Avro CF-105 Arrow, which was the first aircraft that defined the world of modern fighters. You know, when I think about it,  the basic design of fighters has changed little since then.

Nice shots of a nice model.
Not sure about the aircraft though. It wasn't exactly a success as my friend who had the misfortune to service them will tell you. I used to see them regularly at one time. Easily recognisable by the distinctive warbling sound of the Sapphire engines.

Are you sure about this Orenda? The double-delta design of the Javelin is unusual & not much like the Arrow. I would have thought the Avro 707 deltas (the scale research aircraft built to test the Vulcan concept) would have been more influence. ::)

All early deltas were insparations but many prospective Arrow pilots has been flying Javelins. Lead test pilot Jan Zurakowski (I know it's spelt wrong) had flown Javelins previously. Remember that although
