I am trying to figure that out as well.
Remember, this is a FLIGHT simulator. Not a GROUND simulator. However, I thank Microsoft for making this simulator very flexible and easy to manage.
This is my stratagy:
I would usually increase the lateral distance between the wheel contacts [not the tires]. That way, it will reduce the chances of having the Mercedes tip over. To reduce the chances even further, I am also thinking about lowering the center of gravity.
I can probably borrow the *.air file from the Jaguar [for FS2002] and edit it so that the Mercedes can move in the virtual world.
The tricky part [as described by someone else] is that you have to figure out how to make the car accelerate and turn like a car.
Remember, in FS, the power is never transmitted through the wheels. Just the prop. Using the rudder as the direct the thrust is a good idea, but I have to consider the P-Factor [if you select this realism], I have to figure out what's the proper position for the rudder, I have to figure out what's the proper surface area for the rudder, I have to figure out the maximum amount for the rudder's deflection angle and so on.
The Mercedes is not the only issue.
The F-117/A Have Blue was once a top-secret experimental aircraft funded by the government and kept secret by the government. It is the 1st ACTUAL precedessor of the F-117 Night Hawk. The only differences were that the Have Blue had a wingsweep of more than 70* and it have no bomb bay.
Because of its secrecy [now declassified by the government], there are absolutely VERY LITTLE specifications on it's performance. Only its basic dimensions are shown [such as wingsweep angle, wing area, fusalage length, etc.].
The interior of the Have Blue model was an educated guess based on the photo exterior images of the aircraft with a very unsatifying view of the cockpit. In fact, there are no photo images of the interior.
Not only that, the aircraft is very unstable on all three axis. That's where fly-by-wire kicks in. I am planning on making the dynamics similar to that of its real-life counterpart. That's right, I'm planning on making unstable like the real thing. This time, the auto pilot will be the fly-by-wire hardware.
However, I am also planning on making another release of the Have Blue aircraft that doesn't require the fly-by-wire [for those of you who don't like to use the autopilot].
