CFS2 is looking more primative the more I play FS2004 and CFS3. The cliffs of Dover are a nice touch.

Nice shots Ace! ;D
The last one looks really good. Although it seems to me it may be confusing that you both have the same aircraft registration LOL
Are those the cliffs of Dover?
I tried to find them in FS2k2 but they don't seem to be there.
If anyone knows of a download that contains them I'll be happy to hear about it.

Cheers

Good one Ace. :D

I could be wrong but it looks like CFS2 to me Fozzer. Believe it or not, the water colour is surprisingly like the real thing (well it surprised me & I'm a local :o ) judging from this photo I took only a few weeks ago. (The quality is poor but I happened to take it as we crossed the coast right over Dover.) http://www.simviation.com/yabbuploads/hagarwcliffs-1.jpg
Of course, it varies all the time & this was a nice sunny day.

This photo from the Dover website shows how the cliffs actually look. http://www.dover-web.co.uk/history_images/history_cliffs_sky.jpg

Close but not that close. I'm about 80 miles due west as the crow flies. ;)

Hi Fozzer,

Lovely pics, (tho' I still cant get over the turquoise water colour..FS 2004?...)

Did you ever try OceanFX? It's a huge download but improves water textures by a large amount. I love it :D
I'm not sure if this is what Ace is using but it looks similar.
Cheers

You could rename the FS2k2 water textures to their CFS2 equivalent and copy them across.  I haven't tried it myself as I rarely fly CFS2 these days.

Nice shots and definately Dover, however the water is meant to be a murky grey colour!!!!
I have lived there once trust me on this its full of raw sewage.

Hi Sarah. Like everything else, I think the sea always looks a lot different from the air. Check out the photo I took from my previous link.

btw, Hagar.... tell me if Gerry trashes ur place, i always get them over my field (Hawkinge)

Thanks Ace - I'll be in contact if I need your services. I have many fond memories of RAF Hawkinge (circa 1959/60). You could still see the bomb craters from the air. Unfortunately it's now closed & no longer in use as an airfield. If you fly west along the coast for 80 miles or so you will be somewhere near my home. I'll look out for your Hurricane. :)
