Nice pics! The Mach 2 Concorde is too frame-eating for my system, so I use a modified FS2000 model instead. Added to the clouds (I assume in FS2004), my machine would almost grind to a halt!

Having said all that, I'll continue to fly Concorde in my FS2002 virtual world, even if it's stopped forever 'out there'...

Always beautiful, this bird. Great shots.

I just put that Concorde in FS2004 this Sunday. It works very well and has an excellent VC imo. Try putting down the visor and nose when on approach from vc view...
*thrilled*

Leostr: have you noticed how the intake doors of the jets open when you lower that visor? I tried to see if the 'outlet-like things' underneath the jets would close at a certain point, didn't yet manage.

Thanks JW - I've lately gone pretty well payware on all my planes (like you, love the VC's), and although a lot of the freeware is excellent, often there's no VC in the plane  :'(. I was amazed at the quality of detail, like you say excellent VC, excellent model - and best of all free! I've spent many hours looking at this gorgeous bird in flight, and yes, was impressed with the intake movement .. and talking of that, is it just me, or can you see wisps of air when you're in VC passing over the visor??

Mike,
I found it at http://fsfrance.free.fr/Mach2/Main_eng.htm . Big download (12Mb) for the base plane, and almost as much for the sounds - but soo worth the download; sounds are fantastic! and then you have all the textures - BA, Air France in all the liveries from day one. There are also a couple of originals there.. Word to the wise - beautiful though it is, it can kill Framerates, but beauty has its price i guess..... ;D

Just went and got it myself....
Frame rates here, are like a POSKY Airliner...
But how do you turn off the windsheild wipers....
And work the "Intake doors"??????

Piper - apparently its in the manual as to how to disable them... the one written in French.  :P . If i get round to it, i will have a go at translating the manual, but to be honest, i got rid of the wiper/afterburner addon, 1. because i couldnt turn off the wipers like you, second, didnt like the burners half as much

I hated the wipers more than the afterburners, so I uninstalled them.
Leostr: the 'whisks of air' are actually reflections on the inside of the visor. Saw that as well.

Hope to post some pics of my own tonight.

??? Lost my textures on the VC ??? The pics I am about to post you'll see the textures inside the vc missing. Tried like hell to get them back on, for the screenies I was about to make. Didn't yet manage. Decided to take them anyway.
