Nexus82 approaching Innsbruck! (LOWI)

Postby Nexus » Fri Oct 24, 2003 7:43 pm

Seeing the airport is listed as one of the most dangerous and hard flown approaches, it was evident that yours truly decided to check it out. Since POSKY just released their 757 I was anxious to try it out!

But a little note: yes I have cheated abit, I've looked though LOWI aerodrome charts of course and more important; I've a cockpit DVD where a transavia 737 executes the approach seen below. So basicly I'm just mimicing the big guys

they fixed the VC-and-effects file

with the original (no number at the end) you don't have strobes either

That's definitely one I've gotta try. I (nearly) did it in a 777 once  :-[. Lol ;). Nice pix, especially the 3rd one.

Well done mate. ;D

Hey Geforce, I also tried it in a triple 7, but I never managed to do that tight turn. Full rudder pressure (well kinda...)

Yes, the approach was a blast. Too bad my screenies didn't come up like I wanted to do. But I simply can't crank up the FSAA and Anisotropic filtering while flying difficult legs. If I did, the pics would've been really kick ass ones  ;D
