Main panel overview
Switch above the DH selector turns the radar altimeter on

Electrics stuff, all up to start, all down to stop

Radio panel, pilot side. ADF doesn't work!!
Switch on 1 means that the twin needle vor is fedd by NAV1 etc.

Autopilot.
Set standby first, wait for yellow light to come on. then press the ap on switch. green light goes on.

Fly to desired altitude by hand, reduce vsi to something lower than 50m/s and engage VSI=0 switch.
trim status lights will show what the machine is doing vertical wise. KEEP  OFF THE STICK!!!

Heading feed select makes you choose between NAV1, HDG set and the big turn knob... experiment to find out

And more radios...

most important things here are the Gyro On switch, that enables the heading gyro. the RSBN radio needs extra scenery to be installed.

???

Hmmm

Don't think I'm gonna bother. Fraid I can't stand these multi-pop-up panels. They are just nothing like the real thing and there's just no way I can stretch my imagination that far. The fanda dash 8s another one. Very clever programming - but I just can't see the point

I know there are loadsa real fans out there - the fanda's got it's own forum that's chockablock with avid dash 8 jockeys but it leaves me a bit cold. But good luck to all you guys who are turned on by all this 'realism'  ;)
