i'm so frustrated trying to fix my texture bug in fs9 i decide to give Gmax a try.  i'm modeling an astar 350 based on the helo's where i work. Image some ai trafic dazzled by the ufo Image the airport is kodiak in alaska if any one is curious Image tell me what you think.  is this bird overdone? any other suggestions?

oh yeah.... i'm having an easier time learning Gmax than i am figuring out my texture problem :)

Nice!  I too am learning Gmax, and here's a little advice: very soon, you will encounter massive resistance by the program to keep you from finishing your project.  Don't give up!  I have been working on an aircraft for about three or four months, and still am not proficient with gWax!  Hang in there.  Just take it slow, and get every tutorial you can.  Some are good, some are bad.  Just find the ones that work for you . . .

One thing: on the engine housing of your aircraft, select the polys that form it and autosmooth them.  It will take away that boxy look and make it smooth.

All in all, a very promising start. ;)
