Some time last week i found this realy great replica of the Concorde.  After flying it for a while i decided that it was worth the hour and a half that it took to download this 13mb piece of work.

I decided to take it out for a flight from Paris to New York.

Rolling for takeoff

Turning for New York
Image

At 56500 ft.  almost at mach 2
Image

Almost to New Yorks Kennedy Inlt.  ready to begin final

On final aproch just before touchdown

Finaly slowed down from 180 knot touchdown.

Exiting runway.

Parked at gate.  Nearly a flawless flight.

I never could have imagined that this wonderful bird would be such a pain to fly.  i had to do the whole flight in real time and stay at the computer for the entire flight to manage the fuel distrobution.

All I can say that this aircraft flys like a rock but yet its great if you want a challenge.

Great trip Triple...although I have to say that your screenshots look kinda grainy...
It looks like it may have something to do with resizing the pic...whats screensize are you taking these shots at?

Otherwise...great trip!

i think im taking them at 640 pixles     im not sure why the pics come out like this  i dont have that when flying.  what do i need to change to get them to come out clear and still not go over the 100 k limit.

thanks for the tip.  i decided to take another flight before i came back to read this.  so its a little late for these pics.  sence i went from paris to new york the first time i decided to go back to paris.  the first pics aren't to bad but the night ones are a little hard to see.  well here they are.

just pulling back to get up.

goodbye new york

leveled off at 28000 ft for subsonic cruise

slightly above 50000 ft at mach 2

leveled off at 15000 ft aproching paris

turning for final

i love this shot    just before touchdown

to bad that i was too heavy and buried the entire concorde under the runway. "oh well cant land them all"

night landings are very hard for me to do because the frames begin to drop and it starts running like a slide show.   its hard to tell when to speed up and when to slow down and how far you are from the runway.
