My first clean carrier landing!

Postby A/SGT.Mav316 » Sun Sep 14, 2003 8:23 pm

Remember I said CLEAN, all my other 2 successfull landings were sloppy and off line with the runway!  :o
Through the magic of instant replay I took snap shots of my 1st. successful clean landing! It was a Beaut!  ;D

Here is the little platform in the back ground I will attempt to land on!  :o

Ghostrider 2-0-0 request permission to land!  :o

Ghostrider 2-0-0 you are three quarters of a mile call the ball.

Here I am at the end of the runway catching my breath after I lovely perfect landing (note all the smoke and skid marks as proof of a landing)!  ;D

Next time my first fly by the control tower!

OK i don't get it  :(

I changed the files names so that there wouldn't be any spaces between the images and I still have no pic. What gives here man  >:(

I uploaded the images under the new file names
take1
take2
take3
take4
take5

I pasted the url : http://www.simviation.com/yabbuploads/yourpic.jpg

between the [img]URL[img] brackets as the instructional pointed out and I still get no images

[img]http://www.simviation.com/yabbuploads/take1.jpg[img]

Is exactly how I posted it and none of the images came out. What's going on here? ???

There is no 5!  ;D For some reason when I was adding the # I thought I did five already and later found out I didn't! :D

But there was an order to them ,this is the pic you missed.  ;D

:o IT WORKS!!!! YAHOOOOOOO!  ;D

The only thing left to do now is practice night time landings. Which is almost impossible because this f-14 doesn't have night textures and it is very hard to land a plane when all you can see is the blinking lights off the wing tips.

Oh yea I almost forgot, I want to try a fly by on the tower at about 250 knots and 5" from the tower!  :o

The tower is not a solid object, I tried landing on the deck and wound up swinging into to tower by mistake, and wound up flying right through it!
