Presenting Madamoiselle Dewoitine: Part 1

This is perhaps one of the nicest vintage aircraft I've seen in a long time. The lovely Dewoitine D520. Many agree that this aircraft was the best French made fighter of WWII. Some historians also believe that if it had entered service sooner, France would have defeated Germany in it's invasion. Unfortunately it was released too late. It's no Spitfire but it sure looks good. It was equiped with a 935hp Hispano-Suiza HS 12Y45 liquide cooled V-12 engine which gave it a top speed of 332mph (534kph). It was armed with one Hispano 20mm cannon above the engine and had four wing mounted Hispano machine guns. It entered service in May 1940. Production was ended on December 31st 1942 and they were phased out of service by 1945. Some 775 aircraft were produced.
This version is for FS2002 but works great in ACOF. It's from Avsim. To get it you have to click the "Here" button at the top of the new aircraft section and click today's date. This allows you access to things that have just been uploaded. The aircraft has a full DVC and full moving parts including an opening canopy and engine cover. Shots were taken near Grand Case, St Martin.
These are just some random shots.
