Hi there,
I'm sure this is old hat, but this is the highest I've ever been able to get in FS2002. I figured it was worth the screen shot. I hope the info at the top is readable after the downsize and JPEG conversion but just in case, it says 96,408ft and yes it is just about to stall!

Also, I'd be curious to know what the highest altitude is that other people have achieved?

without cheating 100000 feet, its the maximum height you can go

I've hit the big 100k too, I was going like a mad thing in the SR-71, and I stalled after getting there and being there for about 2 seconds

I've hit angels 100 in the MiG-31 Firefox.  Although its capible of much more.  

100k in the Space Shuttle. Even higher if I'm flying in "Orbiter."

Can someone put a picture of how FLorida looks from all the way up there?

Obviously this was not unchartered territory!

I'm going to have to try for 100k now. I wonder if the ceiling of 100 has changed for 2004 or at least if the sky colour at that altitude is more realistic (dark!)

Orbiter is a great freeware space sim http://www.medphys.ucl.ac.uk/~martins/orbit/orbit.html

Perhaps I should venture higher than 4,000 feet!! Well, I do occasionally fly the heavies.

Yeah, in Orbitor i've been up to about 86 million miles.

If you like flight sims orbitor is a must have simulation.

Its all freeware and there are loads of great freeware addons being made for it all the time.

Go to any airport in florida switch to top down
veiw and set your altitude to what ever you want,
hell of a view!!!
