Iceland.......

Well, after taking a hop around the South Island of New Zealand, I had to get some dirty footprints off the plane.....some cat had crawled all over the place and left its mark.....once cleaned, it was off to Reykjavic to see how much of the local island has snow caps at this time of year....I did find some but the entire place doesn't live up to its name.....there was lots not covered in ice...........I do like this little French plane, and even better, now that its nice white paint job is all cleaned up....

Seems that there's more snow and ice on Greenland then Iceland ??? ::) Seems the names need to be reversed ;D

You know, I think that if I actually HAD a video card it might help my screenshots considerably.  Everyone else's always looks so smooth where mine are always rough around the edges....

Beautiful shots.  I downloaded the plane and it's a blast!

i have heard that it had to do with the original people who found the two places. they decided to name the icy one greenland to fool people into going there to stop them coming to the more hospitable iceland and kicking them out. it gave the settelers the extra time to make sure they were firmly set there incase someone did try and kick them out.
