..and now for something completely different...!
...A Blast from the Past...
...
...
...!
"Looking Glass Studios. Leading The World In Electric Amusement"
"...Yee-Haa..."...!
(All those lucky owners will recognise that)...!
Here are some nice, nostalgic pics of Flight Unlimited II, just to show how good the old game was...
...!
(I've had to reduce all the pics to 640 X 480 'cos Mr. SimV said "Fozzer, you have exceeded your upload limit, and I have deleted all your pictures...").
Buggar...
...!
LOL...LOL...LOL...!
I still play it regularly as a change from FS 2002.
The scenery from the air is amazing, even by todays standards. All the cities, free-ways and fly-overs are accurately depicted, and the mountains show all the paths and roads traversing them.
San Francisco International from the air.

Towards 'Frisco Town.

Highway 101...

'Frisco dockland.

Golden Gate Bridge.

Bay Bridge.

The good old Beaver panel.

Marin County and the surrounding hills.

If you find a copy of Flight Unlimited II in your local game shop, snap it up...!
You will not be dissapionted. It works fine on a "low end" machine, and even better on a "high end" machine"...
...!
(I actually prefer this version to Flight Unlimited III which covers the Seattle area).
Pro Pilot 2 is also a very good game for practising ATC, (although the scenery is rather plain).
Cheers all...
...!
Have fun...!
