nice plane, who made it, and what simulator is it for?

CFS2 B-17E represents a B-17E Flying Fortress that would have been flying in the Pacific Theater at around June of 1942. This aircraft is similar to the type of B-17E which flew during the Battle of Midway and attacked the Japanese fleet from high altitude. No direct hits were scored, though some near misses were made. Bomb bay opens and full bomb loadouts are included. Includes moveable control surfaces and a detailed panel. Original design and .mdl file by HerbieG. Repaint by Paul Knuth. 1.8MB

i know about B-17s my grandfather flew in one in the korean war, i think. it's my third favorite plane, P-38 first and P-51 second

have you ever seen the B-17 from "B17-The mighty 8th",X??
they look better than the CFS 2 ones. If you love B-17s,shall i post some pics from the game ??

it looks awfully blurry IMHO...
that one could really use better textures.

And for eyecandy on the desktop with B-17's you can better use 3dmark2003 ATM, with shine effects and all that kind of stuff
