A VERY FUN RIDE part 2

Postby Fly2e » Sat Jun 14, 2003 9:36 am

As I cleared the coast, I pulled back on the stick! The old bird started to turn as the sun's light reflected off the waters below!

Image

It was time to head back. I decided to see how she handles at low level flight. I decided to take the stream back to the airfield......but not by way of canoe!
I lined her up with the stream below.

Image

The sun's reflection off the stream below, made for some interesting sights! This was my "road" home.

Image

I think I scared the trout out of the river on this "fly-bye"!

Image

As the airfield was in sight, it was time to end my little "joy ride"!

Image

As I pulled into my parking spot and pried my hands off the stick, I thought to myself, "Now that was......... A VERY FUN RIDE"!!!

Image

Hope you like!!!

I love that Spit! It flies great and definately looks great! Beautiful pics. Now if someone would just make a good P-51D Mustang that reflected the original flight dynamics instead of the file that comes with the Reno Air Racers aircraft that reflects the aircraft with a much more powerful engine. Or maybe I'm wrong. Does anyone know if the FDE with the Reno Air Racers Mustang is WWII dynamics of if it's with a modified engine? Thanks. Great pics!

Fly pal, I'm going to upset Ken and Mark and stick with you here because my personal favourite Spitfire is the MkXIV and I love that bubble top model. ;)

Very nice shots Dave!

Is the sign "The City of Forks welcomes you" part of the Emma Field scenery??? I've got Emma field and love it, but can't remember that particular sign ???
