The bridge to easy?

Postby Wing Nut » Thu Jun 12, 2003 11:01 pm

Off the northern coast of Sicily the is a small island with a high mountain and a plateau with one side that slopes down to the east.  I do not know what the name of it is, but the coordinates are N38* 47.45' by E15* 12.46'.

The challenge is simple:

What is the largest plane you can put down on this rock.

This is what I found....if you check the location, you can see I landed on what I thought was your island, but upon stopping I found I was on the wrong one and the correct one was visible in the distance....so, take-off and go land on the right one !.....no sweat !

I don't have anything bigger than that 747, but I'm willing to try it in my Vulcan.

everytime when i land or start a jet on an airstrip...the wheels sink into the ground or they won't retract when i take of. i think the same would happen on this rock  ;)

Was that too easy or are you just that good?  I guess that's what I get for not being a bus driver.
