I have no idea!!!! Sorry Cherokee, I didn't even realize I had it until the other day when I "stumbled" on her in the hanger looking for some Capt. Morgans. Heard there was this wild man out in the woods walking on fire lookin for a partner!!! LOL.
I think maybe I got it here under vintage!

Lucky me then Foz, I can open my eyes and drive to Sproat Lake and hear that type of engine on the Martin Mars..............LIVE ! Its only an hour away from me.
Best day I had there was when I got to see both the red tail and the white tail land in succession....after one did a final water drop to reduce his landing weight ..... 8)
This gettin anyone green with envy yet ?......sorry

I lived in NJ  Clifton New Jersey 07011  but i went to that airport a lot, if u live in the NY area u should go to Roosevelt Fld, Grumman Fld and Floyd Bennet Fld, the latter is located in Brooklyn. they are all kick ass!!!!!

Thanks Space Ace. Here is the up-date on those locations.....

ROOSEVELT FIELD. This entire place is now a huge Mall called....you guessed it "Roosevelt Field Mall". Not a hint of aviation anyplace. The last part of Roosevelt Field was sold to some developers 2 years ago and it looks as if a Home Depot and Targer are now siitnig ontop of this historical place.   :(

GRUMMAN. I have worked on the Grumman properties for years. Been all over the place. Needed clearance and everything. Sorry to say that the entire runway has been removed and there are now 188 condominiums sitting on top of where the historical jets used to take off from!!   The only thing left at the Grumman location is a few buildings that house alot of the defense design systems. But it is really incredible to walk the grounds and buildings and see and read about all the history that was a part of Grumman.   :(

FLOYD BENNET FIELD. This little gem was the only place that was not totally destroyed by the money hungry developers. It has become a park, sports field, and picnic area. There is no trace of aviation except some asphalt in one area that represents some sort of runway.   :(
