How would things have looked without the advances in airframe, powerplants, avionics,etc.,.....Can you just see Wilbur or Orville with their bamboo, canvas and wire contraptions, buzzing around the Gateway to the West, in St Louis Missouri ............. ::)

lol yes, that WOULD be different

hehehe the world speed record would be like 100MPH at the most

and lindbergh would have died in obscurity....... jesus!!!! :-/
