Envelope test

Postby ozzy72 » Wed May 14, 2003 6:56 am

Well I thought I'd give the new Typhoon a workout and see how she goes. So first an altitude test. 50000 feet up and kicking the burners and inducing a stall

Then a bit of low level (at over 800knts).

And a nice landing, she is great, bang on the deck (just off the centerline) first time

Love it.

Yep the speed on the HUD is correct, and I was only pulling up to avoid that house, mind you I bet his windows weren't too well...... ;D

Love it lots. Wish the AH and compass worked in the cockpit, sometimes the HUD can be tricky to read.

Ozzy

PS. Craig you can download her here right now! What is stopping you? Oh and she handles nicely, but is easier to stall than most modern jets.

Oops Craig. It appears we of Celtic blood are having trouble. I was trying to get to 900knts at ground level zooming between buildings when I clipped a tree and died horribly! Ooops.

Mark, your graphics look considerably better than when we played through the Golden Gate when you had just acquired your new J/stick...........good enough to take apart and edit now.........

Thanks Ken, I've been doing a lot of work on the setup to get good quality without loosing performance. The new Ti4600 is just awesome! I'll expect to see my shots vandalised and in the edited forum soon then? ;D
Craig doesn't anyone of us live you and could just pop it onto a CD for you?
