Why You Should Never Mess With A Heavy!!

Postby Cherokee_6 » Fri May 02, 2003 9:41 am

I got a little confident one day and decided I was going to play chicken with a new Project AI download that I just installed....BIG MISTAKE :-/

On my first attempt I was little off target....
Image

Not so on the second pass...lined right up!
Image

Right at the last second..(i guess a second too late) I pulled back hard on the yoke...
Image

I managed somehow to clip the tip of the heavy and it snapped my baron right in half! :o :o :o
Image

With engines on full power and the yoke pulled back...she climbed and climbed...
Image

She climbed pretty far too but finally she gave out and stalled...and apparently, I didn't damage the heavy at all!
Image

Once she started pointing down...there was nothing to do but hold on...
Image

Just before I met my demise, I took this lesson to heart and vowed never again to mess with a heavy... ;D

Playing chicken with anything that weighs more than twice what you do = REALLY dumb!

Nice shots btw

Once you get in the middle of this maneuver, you are destined to win the spot landing contest
