Looks interesting, if I had a cable connection I would love to play this Sim more online and a virtual airforce would be along the lines of my preferences. Good luck.

I see you have David Brice onboard, I love his work!

Oh my god please oh please turn that su-17 fitter into a su-22 fitter. It's the swing wing version of the su-17 and is so bloody cool. below is a picture of it I will help if I can and create sounds for it if you want. You can't believe how long I've been waiting for an opportunity like this.

As the Gent who comissioned this model,  I can tell you the Su-17 is Swing wing. The Su-22 was designed pretty much as an export model with varying avioncis and weps fits tot he 17.  There will also be a two seat Version coming too.  Available from www.sierrahotel.org and no doubt the TLUK site.
Sounds would be good, also panel photo's so we can create a panel...

Hi Chris,

those projects look awsome, a couple questions though...

If those carriers are not scenery, how are they going to be used? Player used carriers cannot be landed on.

Cool submarines, do they fully submerge, have a 2d panel, and have a DVC?

What's the SA-8 Rocket Launcher and missles for if you cannot shoot aircrafts down, or have effects show in MP?

Awsome stuff!

I guess I can ask Dan about it. He's out of town at the moment so when he gets back we'll see.  ;)

Andrew, the carrier and subs will be scenery APIs which will allow for movement of the fleet through scenery updates. The missiles however will be user-piloted, but the SA-8 launcher will be a scenery macro. The idea is to have a laucher placed in the scenery from where the user will "launch". The missiles will each have a fully accurate .air file ensuring that it has the same specifications as their real-world counterparts.

The carrier will be fully-landable and packed with features (night lighting, FS2002 effects, etc), I must stress that this carrier is still under-construction and will continue to be an on-going project even after intial release.

The Su-24 and Su-17 are Aircraft built for Sierra Hotel (FRAAv)  These aircraft once completed will be sent to the Gromov Flight Test Center (A division of the FRAAv) and they will be closed to Beta tested by members of that organisation and then open Beta to the TLUK team.  If your interested in joining the TLUK team I would suggest contacting the Designer Dan Dunn via his website.
However anyone who is wishing to join the Sierra Design Bureau in a manufacturing capacity (A/C Design, Sounds, Panels, Scenery, API's etc) or you are keen to join the Gromov Test Team you are more than welcome to contact myself at the email address below.

Thank you for your interest and encouraging comments.

Jon is correct. After Dan finishes it he will send it to their testing center, and the core members of the TLUK team. I.E. Myself, Alan, and Dan of course. Then later to our testing team.
