9-11 Fly-bye

Postby Fly2e » Fri Feb 28, 2003 8:22 pm

Today was my freind Fred's birthday. He would have been 35. He was killed in the attack on the World Trade Center on Sept. 11, 2001. I just got back from his house where his family and freinds had a small get together to honor his Birthday. I flew out of JFK yesterday and today and flew over to the site were his life and many others ended that morning. I just kept circling until I went home. :-/

Really nice pics. Sorry to hear about your friend. Last year when returning home, the plane I was in flew close to the spot where it all happened and it just felt strange, after seeing it all on tv then seeing where it all happened with my own eyes.  :(
