HMS Bounty is in final beta testing now and will be released possibly by the week's end here at Simviation and at Sim-Outhouse, followed by Flightsim.

That Sir is a great hobby, one requiring much patience, skill, attention to details, and tenacity. :-)

We have around 2000 hours in this project over 2 years and I hope it will prove to be acceptable to your eyes. :-)

The beta testing so far has gone smoothly and reviews have been very positive.

It seems that sailing the Bounty in flight sim is quite addictive to testers. :-)

That looks very nice indeed

As I mentioned earlier, The Wife and I are keen sailors. Although we've sailed a variety of boats they have all been on the small side, 40' yacht being about the largest we've crewed on. Never sailed on a square rigger though so looking forward to this one.

Here's one of us in our usual boat, we normally race but here we're cruising in Chichester Harbour, just sailing down from Fishbourne approaching Dell Quay if memory serves:

G.K., I would send you teh link to the beta but it looks liike I will release this Friday I I'll wait.

You may also be interested to know we will be releasing the Launch from HMS Bounty (since i was at limits with polys on the Bounty and could not add it).

A 2-masted ketch with typical mounted sails, sails animated with the winds, and speed dependent on wind speed, wind direction, and sails management.

This will not be released with the Bounty but sometime later.

Lovely little Launch.

A great example of the evolution of the fore and aft rig from the square rig.....an early Lug sail.

Looks like a remarkably accurate model. Great Job.
