Well I think a quick look at some past winners and you will see that the weather is not always the default. I mean using a payware plane is pretty cut and dry. As for scenery, if you look at the Hall of Fame a lot of the winners look like they might have some questionable scenery and weather.

I am not hating and really am trying to play by the rules but it says nothing about "weather modifiers" in the rules. I think that having a stipulation that discounts pics with weather editing is taking away from the contest. You need to compose your shot, pick the right aircraft and setting to meet that months criteria. I think that weather effects should not be banned.

"weather modifiers" are not banned. Payware "weather modifiers" are.

I believe that the no payware rule is good because some people might not be able to afford REX or other payware.

Then the ones that could REX would have an unfair advantage.

Oh i was not arguing about payware. I just think that weather should not be included in the ban.

But if one shot has payware weather & another doesn't then the payware one would be more likely to win.

The reason payware isn't allowed is so there is an even playing field.

Incase you are talking about the weather,its HDE or oscar's(?) clouds people use,i use HDE sky updated for FSX aswell.
and the aircraft me and most people have are just good freeware. ;)
