I can see it OK if I squint a little.

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

Patchz, on Flying Wild Alaska, Jim Tweto lands the Cessna 180 on a small strip with water on both ends. (a few times) Any idea what the location is? I can't remember where it was and I'd like to check it out in the sim for myself.

Like in the video Bob posted below your post, it's on the Unalakleet River, about 42 miles east of Unalakleet. This is on the Yukon River, a bit further south, about 58 miles ESE of Unalakleet.

And what you wanted to check out is exactly what I was doing when I found this by accident.

I tried to find it on my computer, with no success.
And although I have the Snow Dogs Tours packages installed, Grayling was still a totally default airport, no special SDT objects at all :/
Very strange. I took a look at the other packages from MoCat but unless I missed them, I didn't see anything related to Alaska appart of Snow Dog Tours, so I really have no idea about which package is enhancing your airfields  :(

I may be wrong but i think this island is called Eagle island on the Yukon river and its known as a checkpoint on the Iditarod sleddog race, maybe this is based on that field.

Cheers

That is highly probable, due to the number of dogsleds (the blue & red things) in front of the cabin in shot #3. Thanks for the info. :)

Edit: I just checked the Iditarod checkpoints and one leg is from Grayling to Eagle Island, the next Eagle Island to Kaltag, so that has to be it.

I don't know why Eagle Island is not identified on FSWidgets moving map or Google Maps. Mystery solved.
