I installed the Hurricane but i cant get the textures for the VC and props to display ??? I installed them in the texture folder first...anu suggestions?

Edit: Just had one of those "use your brain before posting" moments ;D The textures need to be in the airplane texture files offcourse :-X ;)

Serpent, here's what I said in a message to another member:

For the FS2004 install, AH placed several 'common' files in the main Scenery...texture folder. These were for things like the pilot, undercarriage and several other things.

I never use auto installers - I always install into a separate, temporary folder and manually transfer files to where they need to go. If you do that, you can quite clearly see a separate texture folder being created at install time with these in.

Because we don't know enough about FSX, and a lot of things seem to throw it, rather than place these in the FSX Scenery...texture folder I pasted them into the texture folder of EVERY aircraft. That did the trick and everything then worked fine. As it appears your 'common' files haven't worked, I'd recommend that you do it in the same way.

Obviously the Lucian Lie texture is just a straight replacement paste - no point backing up the old files. But make sure you get the model right!
