Super Sylph, not a real plane, so I don't if this counts as an Odditie or experimental.  If not I will hold onto this for when we get to sci and fictional aircraft.

The original 'flying wing' concept, from the late '50's I think. Looked like it would be modern today but had prop engines! Paved the way for the B2 stealth.

Also, the 'parsite fighter' that lived in the bomb bay of the short lived B36. If it was needed, the pilot got in and they dropped him to go and fight off 'the bad guys'. Weird!

Come to think of it, the B36 itself desrves a mention. Six turboprops and another four jet engines!
