Just to be sure! It doesn't give you the camera freedom of active camera in spotview, but it allows you to roam around the VC-cabin, and lets you choose the angle of spotview using the mouse, very precise? If you have a scroll-button on the mouse, it'll act as a zoom-control!

Just try and you'll see...  ;)
