How could M$ make this mistake? It's appalling. I mean, they're only modeling the entire surface of the earth, you'd think there wouldn't be any coding errors...

Nice pics!

I did the same thing, hoped in a Cessna and dove.

Got to about -109,000 feet before I hit the bottom and was bounced off the walls and straight up! :o

Its like the monolith in 2001 A Space Odyssey." Its full of stars", or in this case, "Its full of trees".
I tried to land a Jet Ranger in there, no luck. :( Besides the one in Arkansas(I don't want to get F****** yelled at) What others exist?

I tried several times to get a thread started chronicling these things in the FS2004 forum, but no one bit.  I know there's an airport somwhere that has the runways over a massive crater, but I forget where...

Bear in mind that coding the surface of the earth is really a project of immense proportions...

Problems are bound to happen.

Even though I don't have my FS2004 installed yet, I had to register just to post that I laughed my F******** a** off at this post! Especially with the others joining in...my stomach still hurts!

This looks like an awesome site/board/member group to catapult me into my new FS2004 - I can't wait! I'm also very curious to see the glitches features mentioned in the list - are these for FS2004 or earlier versions?
