I have had this plane a looooong time.  I love its sound  ;D  Its an Aeronca K i think.  The gauges took me a bit to get em workin too.

As someone said you need to copy the DC3 and Vega cab files across.  Cant remeber u might have to rename one of em too???

Sounds similar to the problem I had with the Antonov on floats...

Here's a section of the readme from that plane...maybe it will help!

FS2004 AN-2T,V Panel Gauge Fix.
This HOW-TO file is to help users who are having problems with the  FS9 Default Gauges not showing up in my new AN-2T's or AN-2V's panel.
To fix this, open up the default DC-3's Panel Folder, and locate the .cab file (icon may look like a little blue filing cabinet). Copy this file over to your FS9 gauges folder. You may have to re-name this .cab file to DC3Gauges!
Now repeat this process with the Lockheed Vega. You should not have to re-name this file. Look in the panel.cfg file to see the proper names in case you have any trouble.

MCairjockey.....

Did that approach work?  Gauge files can be a pain in the butt sometimes.

best,

that paragraph wasn't in my read-me. ???

That's because it was from another plane (the Antonov 2v floatplane)...My Aeronca worked when I installed it...glad it works for you now!

Silly thing about add-ons isn't it... My installation worked flawless, but then again i had that Antonov already installed...

Can be quite frustrating to miss the panel or gauges...

I'm happy it worked out for you guys...

Now enjoy beeing loud and noisy in the skies with this one...  ;)

Nice shots of a classic, but if you really want one that looks like its a toy, see if there is an Aeronca C-3 around!.......

I have the K model flying fine in 2004, I tried the C also in 04 and it doesn't work.  I've removed 2k2 from my drive.  Clear as mud now, huh. :)
