Though the Harrier looks like someone inflated it with hot air. The second screen shot reminded me of a scene out of the movie "TRUE LIES" with Major Arnold! Busted aircraft though. The Harrier is one of my favoriate aircrafts, but is difficult to fly. They had a sweet version way back in FS2k2. I can't wait until someone develops a authentic looking one for FS9.

So far I am really pleased with the Civil Aircraft and FA-18F Hornet, F14 Tomcats, and F-16 Falcon releases. These aircrafts are some of the most detailed down to the landing gears and weaponary I have ever seen in a sim!

I've been flying the Harrier for a while now , and i find that they are not that difficult to fly . Are you flying the AP designs version ? I even managed to land the Harrier on rooftops , it's very easy when you get the hang of it . I usually turn on the airbrakes when i land the Harrier , it gives you that extra stability  when you attempt to make a vertical landing ( you also need to work the throttle a lot ) . Practice makes perfect , there are a lot of other planes i still can't fly so don't feel too bad . Thanks for the kind comments and fly safe  ;D

I got the Harrier from http://www.simviation.com/fs2004military22.htm. Just choose the AP designs Harrier ( both of them are good ) . Hope you like the bird  :D

[glb]I haven't tried flying underneath a bridge upside down , my son says it's cool , i'm not so sure i would want to try it ( seems unrealistic , or is it just me )  ??? I do think you have to be a damn good pilot to do that with a jet . Nonetheless very nice pics of the Makinac bridge . Happy flying and be safe  ;D ;D ;D[/glb]

You should try it, not hard at all, the only one that seems hard to me is the tower bridge in London, the underneath is sooooooooooooo small. And loads of military pilots do it in real life, but then they get grounded and court marshaled and their wings revolked :(

Cheers

That's the beauty of FS2004...you don't have to worry about that... ;D

I kind of wonder...after that claim that Flight Simulator had something to do with Sept 11...is there even a pilot who would even think of using FS for that?!?!  Much less get a thrill out of it?

There is a big difference between virtual stunt flying and pretending to be a terrorist!

I don't fly that way (I get too nervous), but I love looking at the posts of those that do (Coffee Tea or MOMMMEEE!!!!...ha ha ha)...

So keep posting those stunt pics!
