Hello Doug.... :D ...!
...Fantastic shots!

I know that everyone seems to like "Bush Flying in Alaska", but after watching all the horrendous problems that the Alaska State Troopers daily have, on my TV documentaries, with the folks, and tribes who live there, who are always armed to the teeth, and out to shoot anything that moves..including State Troopers!
Mostly out of their minds with depression, booze, and various drugs...and suicide!

A scary place for the unwary...I reckon...not to mention scary Sarah Palin!.... :o ....!

...and its also far too cold for me!... ;) ....!

Paul...In Southern California's warmer climes!.... ...!

Btw Doug.Where did that Auster on floats come from.I have never
come across one before.Looks nice.

A bit small for dropping Grizzlies on Sarah Palin though.

Bombs away.

Thanks Anthin for the comments... :D

Here is the site you asked about concerning the Auster T7...Now the site as of now is down for maintenance but hopefully back soon... ;)

http://www.britsim.com/

The Auster T7 in the above post was a repaint from one of our members who did many repaints here at Simviation.

The engine sound is not bad for this model and although I believe it is for FS2004 it seems to work for me in Microsoft FSX.

The site (Link) does have a lot of nice simulated aeroplanes to choose from and hopefully it will be back up and running soon...

 Nice pictures, Doug.

But the one with the boat points out how strange the tide is in that area.

The tide left so quickly that the boat hasn't had time to drop back into the water!

Oh.....

OK.

My other guess was that it had water repellant paint on the hull. :D

Thanks for the pics.

Why would anyone want to fly 35,000 feet over such scenery. :D

P.S... I failed in my application to encourage folks to visit the State of Alaska.... ;) ...!
