Just started downloading, 19 minutes to go. Will tell you later.

Really looking forward on getting your beauty in the air.

Cheers,
Fabian

BTW: Only FSX, right?

No triangles on this end.  I looked at several paints, all looked good.

Everything looks right, nice model, looking forward to do a nice trip with her.

One thing I noticed:
There's a circle in the fuselage, when the cabinlights are on and it's nighttime:
Image

Other than that, no problem here

Could he possibly be running DX10?  I know a lot of planes have that problem.

It could be a video card driver issue also...buy the looks of it that would be my guess.... :)

Indeed Alejandro I had this problem on the beta version.
But I thought it was a normal part of the model. I don't know the real plane so much, and I didn't think about comparing...

Now that I have installed the final version, I can say that the problem is still there, as you can see:

I'm running a GTX480 with the 197.xx drivers (because they work with NHancer, unlike the 258.xx and laters...)

There could be the posibility to release a version for machines that does this Again I don't see at all in any of my computers read all up Stephan

there seem to be less people with the issue that most of the other group that don't see it ,I don't even know what is that :o

so we might going to work because I can't see it ,I'll be sending you other exteriors MDL to see by detaching the nose or part of it it fixes
to release this special model you're going to have to take a good shot of the problem to post it in my forum and here ,it will be just and mdl

I wonder if it could be linked to the advanced video card settings made in NHancer...
However, those triangles are "shadowed", meaning that they are not really painted dark, they have the same color as the non-illuminated part of the plane.
In fact, if you turn the plane so that the nose is not illuminated by the sun anymore, then those triangles get almost invisible.
That makes me think that it could be linked to the vertex normals. You had to do some corrections in that area when I notified the line on top of the fuselage, could this be some kind of side-effect ?

Hi Alex. This intrigued me so I downloaded your latest masterpiece to check it out. Just to let you know that I have the problem triangles above the cockpit. http://www.simviation.com/phpupload/uploads/1290074105.jpg

My system is very low-end but runs FSX quite well. (FSX Gold + Acceleration). I haven't done any special tweaks or advanced video card settings. I haven't got NHancer.

From the little knowledge I have of creating aircraft for FS the problem seems to be with the properties of those two polys.

As Doug says -- looks like a poly problem. I used to get that and found various solutions by reversing polys or the slightest microscopic moving of the polys .....

You may also find that it only shows from certain angles.

See these examples -- same plane but it only shows at some angles.

Now you see it ..

Now you don't ..
