American Russians (Part 2, new liveries added)

If anyone remembers my previous "American Russians" thread, you'll recall that I was working on creating a set of repaints for Vistaliners' new 735 in the liveries of several (if not all) of the Russian airlines that use 737-500's. I'm happy to announce that the repaints are now, for the most part, complete! There's still a few details to sort out (night textures and some other minor enhancements), but the actual paintwork is done.

I'd like to hear some feedback before sending 'em out, so I took the liberty of taking a few pre-release screenies for your viewing pleasure:

SkyExpress (those letters had to be fully hand-drawn)

And finally, considering I already did Aeroflot-Nord, I figured I'd do Aeroflot-Don's new livery as well.


That's pretty much it, expect to see these pop up on the V sometime soon!

Seriously, Lazerbeak those are the best repaints I have ever seen. They look so...crisp and lifelike. Can't wait to download them!!!  ;)

They are all fantastic repaints!!

The Aviaprad one is my fav, the screenshot of it is a stunner in itself!

I beleive there is a competition coming soon to the studio in which people will be challenged to make an official SimV livery which can be put onto aircraft from the new  Cessna 150 to the AN225 and everything in between, you get the picture.If it was me i would have a livery for GA and corporates and a livery for commercial but there we go.  I think you could have a real chance of winning that contest!

I'm really glad to see you all like the paints. Indeed, some were quite challenging, but it was truly a labour of love. I'm just happy I can share them with the community.

Truth be told, doing all those liveries (at times 3 or 4 a day) was a mite exhausting, but it was also quite fun. So much so that I'm thinking about tackling a few Russian 734's now, and there's a lot more of those, so let's just hope my sanity holds out!
