Very nice shots Lemoncat. I can't say I would have recognised the aircraft. Imperial Airways did operate some exotic types.

Unless I'm reading it wrong I think theres a typo in that article. The way I read it, both aircraft were lost 3 years before the first one was built. ::)

Now that is an aircraft Pete ;)

Two wings, two radials and it looks like it was built like a tank.

Not one of those foolish things they build to-day with no props and only one wing ;DLOL

They tell me the new aircraft they are building like the A380 will only have One Pilot and a Dog in the cockpit.

The pilots job will  be to feed the dog and the dog's job will be to bite the pilot if he touches anything. ;D

Nice pics Pete...thanks for posting them!

Cheers...Happy Landings....Doug

BP (not THE BP) also manufactured corrugated metal sheds and industrial buildings.

The day they designed that was obviously the day the 2 design offices had a job swap... :o ::) ;)

Appealing shots of an unappealing aircraft.

They flew through the Bermuda Triangle...?

to answer your question omag i'm using performance clouds the visibility is just the default setting within the sim..makes it look a lot more realistic imo. :)

Hmmm...looked for it there and the file seems elusive.

Do you remember the name of the zip?

Thanks! ;)

Great shots, but I think it should be coined "Moby Dick" as it looks like a beached whale with wings lolol
