Pre-Olympic holiday

Postby ozzy72 » Wed Jun 30, 2004 11:59 am

Well another month and the Olympics are upon us, so I decided to fly to Athens from Wycombe Air Park in my shiny new Howard Hughes 500 to test it to the limit....
The route (IFR at 10000 ft)

Nice morning for flying :)

Finally found a use for the new lens flare effect that the photography mob can't complain about ;) ;D

Entering Swiss Air Space (eating Cadburys chocolate as a rebellion) ;D

Croatia to port, Italy to starboard, and that water looks perfect for a swim :)

Coming up on the Greek coast and the cloud and turbulence increases :(

Down safely in Athens, and with 29% of my fuel still left :o

I'd just like to thank Milton, Jo

Hey, I wasn't criticizing you...just stating a personal preference for the lens flare!

Great shots...everyone's flying this one!

I haven't changed anything on my PC, I think its just it was a nice sedate flight with no bridges meant I didn't have to reduce the quality of the shots to show off the stunts ;D

That 4th shot is a unique one for you Mark. Was it taken with the digi in one hand and a frosty in the other? ;)
Hope you had your shades on!!  8)
