Cruisin' down under

Postby Rifleman » Fri Jul 04, 2003 11:55 am

This idea just came into my head the other day, and I decided to go and fly in some far-off exotic locations....well its exotic from someone who will probably never got to this part of the world.......

Beautiful, these shots are fantastic this is a very nice place for a scenic flight.
If you have 4 more shots they could be a nice calendar. :)

To me it looks like a T-6 trainer, what the Navy trained in before they flew the Corsairs during WW2.

I noticed it said Kissimmee on the side of the plane.  If it's the same plane I'm thinking of, then a friend of mine actually flew that plane out of Kissimmee.

Any more info as to that plane?  Also where can I get that version?  I live in Florida by the way, and work at Disney.

I see that  same plane flying all over the place at Disney doing tours of the area. ;) ;D

It should be GREEN grass this time of year (winter)! Hopefully FS2004 will correct the season anomaly for the southern hemisphere.
Image
This is YBDG (Bendigo) from 7,500ft taken yesterday by me. NZ should be similar at this time of year. In winter we have green grass (generally speaking, although most of the country is in drought) & get brom/no grass in summer!!!!!!
(Forum moderators: I do realise this belongs in the photo's forum, but it is placed here for comparison purposes only).
