a Warning

Postby atotti2000 » Sun Apr 11, 2004 7:43 am

Have you ever wondered what would happen if you tried to land a 737 with 1 hand as you eat your tea and watch the telly...  :o

what you are about to see is an act of carelessness and  a plane only just surviving the wrath of the 'not paying attention' pilot.

Aaah what a lovely scene, paying attention here and loving the scenery.
Image

Approaching the runway now (ill have to concentrate) ... ooohh look, the Newcastle United Footbal Highlights are on..
Image

mmmm, i fancy some food....dum dee dum (other noises made whilst preparing food)..... yum yum, food (noises made whilst eating) oh, that runway came fast
Image

and now, check out this skid. i nevver knew that aircraft were fitted with anti-roll kits...  :D  :o

I hope my misfortunes and tendancy to not pay attention brings a smile to your face :)

That's a 737?  What happened to the engines?  I would have called that an Airbus A320.  Shows how much I know...

that's a nice cathedral!

one question...at first i thought these shots were too big (>800x600), but i see Ozzy replied to this thread and didn't say a thing about it. since yesterdag i have a new TFT monitor and everything is different around here. are these shots too big or is it my new screen i'm not used to?  ;)

had to say something about eating tea.  You brits are strange.  I understand that your beer is so thick that you have to eat it, I never realised the tea was the same way.  I'll have to try it ;D

Great pics, don't worry, my attention span lasts only 1.25 seconds. Fell asleep in a 48 minute class twice last Thursday, but it was English class.

Humph. Thats what all my landings in a 737 look like. :P

Hope I will never be in your plane wood ;D
