Having fun with Little Nellie...!

Postby Fozzer » Fri Apr 02, 2004 1:41 pm

FS 2002 with "Weather Maker"... 8)...!

As a change from all this cigar tube, Commercial jet, passenger flying, Military jet, shooting and bombing "stuff".....
It makes a nice relief to chuff slowly around the skies in a simple little microlight/ultralight/flexwing, now and again... ;)...!
So...
Here are a few pics of "Little Nellie" enjoying herself among the clouds... 8)...!

...Blimey, It's cold up here in just shirt sleeves... :'(...!

Image

...don't you just love all those reflections... ;D...!

Image

..and this is supposed to be "Sunny California"...just look at all that snow.. :o...!

Image

...that's what loading up "Weather Maker" does for you...

Image

...thinks...I wouldn't want to land behind this chap to re-fuel... :o...!

Image

Cheers all.... ;D...!

Paul....low and slow... 8)...!

I wouldn't want to encounter both of 'em at night...especially when someone's sitting in it who doesn't like me. ;D

Hi Foz. That thing looks quite capable of taking care of itself. Hardly your average runabout. :o

I knew Wing Commander Ken Wallis in the old days when he was test flying the prototype of Little Nellie. He held the world altitude record for autogyros at one time. This was some time before he fitted the pod so he was sitting right out in the open. When he came down both he & the aircraft were dripping with icicles. Now that's what you call cold. :o ;)

Mornin' Doug...!
Unfortunately all that armament on my Little Nellie is just for show. The rocket launchers are just cardboard toilet roll inserts... :-[...!
...a bit like the imitation Gatling gun mounted on the handlebars of my bike just to warn Volvo drivers not to mess with me... ;)...!
...bit of a problem trying to explain it to the local "Fuzz" tho'... ::)...!
LOL...LOL...LOL...!

Cheers Doug.... ;D...!
